MF 701RC2 Composite Video Head Pro
The Manfrotto 701RC2 Composite Video Head Pro is one of the most compact and lightweight 2-movement head on the market. The Manfrotto 701RC2 is easy to use and designed for the latest digital video equipment. Small and lightweight, this fluid video and spotting scope head is capable of accommodating a payload of up to 4 kg, and is ideal for set-ups such as a fully equipped 3 CCD mini DV camcorder or a spotting scope combined with a digital still or video camera for digiscoping purposes.
The 701RC2 is one of the most compact and lightweight 2-movement head found on the market, and was designed principally to support the latest digital video equipment, including Mini DV and and the latest prosumer/professional compact HI DEFINITION camcorders. In addition, the Manfrotto MF 701RC2 is well-suited for still photography cameras with medium and long telephoto lenses.
The MF 701RC2 has a fixed length pan bar with a soft handle and separate locking mechanisms. The Manfrotto 701RC2 also is equipped with a fixed 1.5 kg counterbalance spring which combined with a camera plate attachment made of a 200PL touch and go/sliding plate which can shift from +15mm to -15mm from the 0 point to optimize the position of the counterbalance spring and deliver a wide range of balancing positions. The sliding quick release video plate system is based on the 3157N and is equipped with the usual VHS registration pin.
