TRUEPIC PROCESSOR
This powerful image processor forms a part of the in-built iHS technologies dedicated to high overall image quality. Not only does it offer image processing capabilities with high resolution while maintaining high-level colour reproduction. It also provides improved colour controllability in specific colours such as emerald green and yellow. The image processing speed are also increased, along with startup and shooting speeds.

SMART PANORAMA

EYE-FI COMPATIBILITY
An Eye-Fi card enables you to automatically upload images using WiFi. Being compatible with your camera, you can activate and deactivate this card as you wish directly in your setting menu. HAND-HELD STARLIGHT MODE WITH FLASH
Hand-held Starlight Mode counteracts picture noise and camera shake to capture razor-sharp photos by taking multiple images at different exposure settings. It then selects and merges the most suitable gradation for each part of the photo, resulting in a perfectly exposed photo that you couldnt normally shoot in poor light without using a tripod. The flash is also enabled for Hand-held Starlight mode, meaning that images can be merged from various background shots and the foreground shot taken with the flash allowing you to capture both the foreground and background beautifully, and ensure absolutely optimum foreground lighting in non-scenery photos.
SUPER-RESOLUTION ZOOM
Unlike normal digital zooms, which trade off image resolution and sharpness against zooming power, Olympus Super-Resolution Zoom digitally extends the range of the optical zoom. For example, it can boost a 12.5x Optical Zoom to 25x without any noticeable loss of image quality.

DUAL IMAGE STABILISATION
Providing two-fold protection, this special function helps to avoid image blur caused by camera shake. It combines high ISO values with a sensor- or lens based mechanical image stabiliser, where a built-in sensor detects camera movement and adjusts the image sensor or lens accordingly.
HDR BACKLIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Instead of recording just one shot, your camera takes multiple images very quickly at different exposure settings. Then it automatically merges them.
