The affordable TG-630 combines trademark TOUGH imaging power with child, water, shock and freezeproofing. Like every next-generation TOUGH camera, it boasts iHS technologies a high-sensitivity 12-Megapixel backlit CMOS sensor and high-speed TruePic VI image processor giving you the power to record beautiful 1080 Full HD movies. Or high-speed movies up to 240 frames per second that you can play back later in super-slow motion. Whichever format you choose, the results are just as impressive as the toughness statistics, especially when you shoot in poor light. A high-grade wide 5x optical zoom lens gives you the flexibility to capture all sorts of shots from broad panoramas to close-ups. With Super-resolution Zoom, you can even double the magnification to 10x with no loss of that radiant image quality. Showing off great stills and videos is half the fun and the TG-630 makes this easy, too. When you’re walking and capturing videos in Full HD at the same time, blur can be a big problem. Not with Multi-motion Movie IS. This Advanced Image Stabilisation Technology counteracts blurring, even with slow-moving subjects, long shots and pans. It’s ideal for making dynamic, spontaneous movies when you’re on the move and invariably don’t have a tripod. The TG-630 is also capable of producing high-speed movies with up to 240 fps.

Add style to stills and movies with Punk, Pop Art, Pin Hole, Fish Eye, Soft Focus, Sparkle (photos only), Watercolour, Reflection, and Miniature. New filters: Fragmented (photos only) creates a collage of tiles, as if the original photo had been cut up and reassembled; and Dramatic boosts the contrast to give images a more dynamic atmosphere. (Effects vary by model.)
